Writer's picture: Monique ReyMonique Rey

Serves 4

What You’ll Need

  • 1 pound of ground turkey

  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • sea salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 large onion, finely chopped

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

How to Prepare

  1. Mix the ground turkey, coconut flour, paprika, Italian seasoning, sea salt, black pepper, onion, and egg in a large bowl. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.

  2. Next, add coconut oil to a large sauté pan over medium heat. Once the oil has melted, add the meatballs. Cover and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes.

  3. Ensure that the meatballs are cooked all the way through before serving.

Pair these with a roasted sweet potato topped with grass-fed butter or kite hill plant-based butter and an avocado!

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
